At the end, pointing out at sea, the wonderful statue of “Christopher Columbus”. A few steps away you will find the Maritime Museum, situated in the old dock, dating from the middle ages. Impressively contrasted, the new “Maremagnum” complex, a location with plenty of bars, restaurants and discotheques, also accommodation of the magnificent Barcelona “Aquarium” and the “IMAX” cinema. Not far away you will find the “Mediterranean Sea”, occupying with its six centric beaches, in total 4, 2 kilometres of territory. From a tourist point of view, the historical centre of the city, with his small medieval streets, bars, terraces and restaurants, is probably the most interesting district of Barcelona.
