At the north-east part of Barcelona, in the end of the emblematic Diagonal Avenue and headed by the Agbar Tower, a new district has been born: Diagonal Mar. It is located beside the beach but it is perfectly connected to the centre of the city by metro, tram and bus. In this modern area you will find Barcelona’s International Convention Centre (CCIB), some of the most important hotels of the city and the commercial-recreational centre Diagonal Mar. Also, you can visit Diagonal Mar’s Park, designed by Enric Miralles, that is one of the biggest parks in Barcelona, with an extension of 14 hectares.
