The apartment is located in the oldest district of Barcelona: El Barri Gòtic. With its ancient constructions and narrow streets it gives the impression you are back in the medieval period. In this area you can visit many of Barcelona’s most important sightseeing spots, such as the Cathedral of Barcelona, the old Roman Walls and the Catalan Historical Museum. Also, you can have a walk around beautiful squares like Plaça del Pi, with its wonderful medieval church, or Plaça de l’Angel, go shopping to little traditional shops and stylish art galleries, or take a break in one of the various terraces enjoying the street artists and musicians captivating performances.

Apartment was in a fantastic location. Furnishings were OK, shared areas of the building were a bit run-down - but we didn t go to Barcelona to stay indoors!
Guests in the front bedroom - overlooking the street - found it noisy at night and a few times our door buzzer was rung in the early hours of the morning by random strangers.
Also, it might be worth highlighting in your description of the apartment that the main bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom, which wasn t ideal for us as we were not a family group. The separate toilet room was so tiny, you could barely use it with the door closed!
We would have liked to see new soap in the bathroom and a new kitchen sponge as we had to buy both, but now I m just being picky....
All in all, the apartment was great value for money.
